19 November 0, Budapest Effect of the different parameters to the surface roughness in freeform surface milling Balázs MIKÓ Óbuda University 1 Abstract Effect of the different parameters to the surface roughness in free-form surface milling Balázs MIKÓ The free-form surface milling is an important part of the die and mould manufacturing. The surface quality is very important, and identifies the quality of the moulded or casted part. In case of finishing milling of the free-form surface the surface roughness is defined by the size of the milling cutter, the position of the surface and the cutting parameters. The presentation presents the changing of the milling diameter and its effect to the surface roughness based on milling experiments of a test part. The position of the surface and the step depth determine the effective diameter, in case of constant revolution of the tool, the actual cutting speed and the minimal removable chip thickness will change. The presentation presents the effect of the application of the constant cutting speed and feed per tooth to the surface quality. Különböző paraméterek hatása a felületi érdességre szabad formájú felületek marása esetén MIKÓ Balázs Szabad formájú felületek marása a szerszámgyártás fontos lépése.
