3 مقدمة أولت جامعة األميرة نورة البحث العلمي اهتماما كبيرا منذ إنشائها و وفرت كافة السبل لدعم الباحثات و تحفيزهن على القيام باألنشطة البحثية المتنوعة و ذلك لزيادة رصيد الجامعة من النتاج العلمي المنشور و رفع اسمها في المحافل الدولية و تمثيلها في المجتمع األكاديمي على مستوى العالم. فاستحدثت عمادة البحث العلمي عددا من البرامج البحثية لتلبية احتياجات الباحثات و استثمار قدراتهن على البحث و التأليف و الترجمة. و من ضمن هذه البرامج برنامج دعم المشاريع البحثية. ولقد لقي هذا البرنامج إقباال كبيرا من الباحثات في مختلف الكليات بالجامعة و ساهم في تعزيز هذا اإلقبال إنشاء مراكز بحثية في هذه الكليات. و قد تميزت تجارب الباحثات في المشاريع البحثية بالثراء و التنوع حيث تسنى لهن إجراء البحوث مع زميالتهن من الجامعة و من خارجها و بالتالي تحققت فكرة تالقح األفكار و االستفادة من تجارب اآلخرين كما ساهم وجود المستشارين في إثراء هذه التجارب و تعزيزها. كما تسنى للمعيدات و المحاضرات التدرب على كيفية إجراء البحوث و استخدام األجهزة و بالتالي ساهمت هذه المشاريع في بناء شخصياتهن األكاديمية و صقلها. قطعت الجامعة شوطا ال بأس به في مجال تمويل المشاريع البحثية رغم أن عمر هذه البرنامج قصير مقارنة بالجامعات السعودية األخرى حيث تم بحمد اهلل تمويل ما يربو على ستة وخمسين مشروعا بحثيا للعام ه. و هذا يدل على دعم الجامعة السخي و رعايتها للبحث العلمي و على حماس الباحثات و إقبالهن عليه. و ها نحن في هذا الكتيب نضع بين أيديكم بعض نتاج هذا الدعم من األبحاث التي تم نشرها عام ه. 4

4 عنوان المشروع : قاموس المصطلحات الدعوية باللغتين العربية واالنجليزية Dr-ateeg1@hotmail.com الباحث الرئيس: د. رقية محمد العتيق ملخص البحث: 1 -تزويد الدعاة عامة وأصحاب التخصصات الشرعية خاصة بمادة دعوية علمية منضبطة المصادر. 2- االستفادة منه في مراكز البحث العلمي ومراكز الدراسات اإلسالمية في الخارج القنصليات والسفارات والجهات المهتمة بحوار األديان. 3- ال يخفى على الجميع حرص خادم الحرمين الشريفين وفقه اهلل في دعوته إلى حوار األديان على التواصل البناء بين البشر على اختالف معتقداتهم ولغاتهم وما هذا البحث إال وسيلة من وسائل التواصل لقيامه في أساسه على المصطلحات الدعوية التي هي في األصل سبيل الحوار الديني. 4 -نظرا الهتمام الجامعة برفع مستوى أعضاء هيئة التدريس من خالل الحرص على مشاركتهم المستمرة في المؤتمرات والندوات الكتساب المزيد من الخبرات ولما كانت كثير من هذه المؤتمرات والندوات تقدم باللغة االنجليزية كانت حاجة أعضاء هيئة التدريس ماسة لمرجع متخصص للرجوع إليه أثناء إعداد األبحاث ومحاورة القائمين على هذه المؤتمرات والندوات والمشاركين فها. خاصة مع ندرة مثل هذه القواميس إن وجدت. 5 -لما كان محتوى مقرر اللغة االنجليزية الذي تدرسه طالبات القسم ال يخدم التخصص وال يفي بحاجة الطالبات في اتقان هذه اللغة والمصطلحات الدعوية منها خاصة كانت فكرة هذا القاموس والذي أرجو أن يقدم هذه الخدمة لطالبات قسم الدراسات اإلسالمية. بيانات النشر: العتيق ر )يوليو 2014( مشروع قاموس المصطلحات الدعوية باللغتين العربية واالنجليزية. مجلة كلية التربية كلية التربية جامعة األزهر العدد رقم 159 الجزء الثاني. 5

10 عنوان المشروع : تأثير نهج األوسكى للتقييم السريري على معدل تقييم الطالبات بكلية التمريض الباحث الرئيس: د. ايمان على مصيلحى مطر eman_ mater@yahoo.com ملخص البحث: يعتبر التدريب والتقييم العملي احد الركائز االساسية في تعليم التمريض لتأهيل خرجين ذو كفاءة مهارية عالية وقادرين على تقديم خدمة صحية ذات جودة عالية ألفراد المجتمع. نظام التقويم التقليدي المتبع حاليا يفتقر العدالة والمساواة في التقييم وفرص التدريب بين الطالبات وذلك ألسباب عديدة منها التزايد المستمر للطالبات والنقص في أعداد أعضاء هيئة التدريس ولذلك يجب تطبيق نظام االمتحانات العملية )OSCE( الستيعاب عدد كثير من الطالبات وبطريقة منظمة. ويتميز هذا النظام بالعدالة والمساواة للطالبات حيث ان كل الطالبات يتم تقيمهم من خالل التعرض لنفس مشكلة المريض الصحية اثناء مرورهم على مختلف المحطات العملية ( Stations ) كذلك فإن الطالب يتدرب ويقيم في مناخ تعليمي آمن يضمن عدم االضرار بسالمة المريض. يتطلب هذا النظام اإلعداد الجيد من قبل اعضاء هيئة التدريس بناء على االهداف التعليمية والمهارات المطلوبة في المقرر. نظام االمتحانات العملية يطبق المصداقية والدقة في االختبارات العملية ويؤهل طالبات ذوات كفاءة في المهارات التحليلية والعملية. بيانات النشر: Mater, E. 12 عنوان المشروع : التحليل اإلحصائي للتجارب العاملية للجودة الهندسية والحاالت المماثلة بفرض نموذج جاوس العكسي. الباحث الرئيس: أ.د. أمينة بنت علي بن عبد الفتاح صالح aasaleh@pnu.edu.sa ملخص البحث: يتناول البحث التحليل اإلحصائي للتجارب العاملية بفرض نموذج جاوس العكسي. و تناول أوال حالة وجود عاملين والتي حظيت ببعض االهتمام من الباحثين ولكن يعوزها بعض التحسينات التي تناولها هذا البحث وتشمل علي وجه الخصوص تنقية التقدير التقريبي لمقدرات معالم النموذج باستخدام طريقة اإلمكان األكبر بهدف الحصول علي صيغة جبرية صريحة موثوق بها والذي تفتقده األبحاث السابقة. كما تناول البحث بعد ذلك حالة وجود ثالث عوامل والتي لم يسبق تناولها من قبل. مع محاولة تقديم تعميم لما تم التوصل إليه في حالة وجود عاملين ثم تطرق البحث إلى استخدام بعض الطرق األخرى )مثل طريقة المربعات الصغرى( إليجاد مقدرات المعالم ثم تناول إجراء اختبارات الفروض على التأثيرات الرئيسية والتفاعالت بين العوامل. كذلك تناول البحث تحليل المقلوبات المماثل لتحليل التباين في حالة نموذج التوزيع الطبيعي. و شمل البحث أيضا دراسة وضع نموذج عام لتحليل التجارب العاملية تحتوي على عدد «م «من العوامل. ترجع أهمية البحث إلى عدم مالئمة نموذج التوزيع الطبيعي لتمثيل البيانات ذات االلتواء الموجب )مثل بيانات الجودة الهندسية( وإن أفضل تمثيل لهذه البيانات هو استخدام نموذج جاوس العكسي. و تم تطبيق النموذج علي بيانات من الحياة العملية. بيانات النشر: Saleh, A, & Al-Radady A.( 2015). 13 عنوان المشروع: استخدام المبادالت األيونية التجارية في استخالص الراديوم من المياه. مقارنة وتحقق الباحث الرئيس: د. الجوهرة حمد المقرن ملخص البحث: المبادالت األيونية هي مركبات معقدة تحتوي على أيونات صوديوم أو هيدروجين موجبة وتستخدم في تحلية المياه حيث يتم استبدال هذه األيونات بأيونات الكالسيوم والماغنيسيوم المتواجدة في المياه عند إمرار هذه المياه على المبادل وحيث أن عنصر الراديوم له نفس السلوك الكيميائي مثل عناصر فلزات األقالء األرضية من حيث التكافؤ الثنائي فإنه يرتبط بالمبادل األيوني. وهذه الدراسة تهدف إلى المقارنة بين عدة أنواع من المبادالت األيونية التجارية التي تستخدم أساسا في تحلية من حيث قدرتها على االحتفاظ بالراديوم المتواجد في المياه وقد أجريت هذه المقارنات في عدة ظروف مختلفة حيث محتوى األمالح في المياه ونسبة الحديد باإلضافة إلى معدل إمرار المياه على المبادل. وقد أوضحت النتائج أنه يمكن استخدام هذه المبادالت ذات األسعار الزهيدة في فصل الراديوم من المياه بكفاءة تتراوح من %97-90 حسب نوع المبادل و محتوى المياه من األمالح والحديد. بيانات النشر: Almuqren, A. 17 عنوان البحث : اعتالل الكلي الناتج عن عقار السيسبالتين: دور كل من الخاليا الجذعية ومثبط الرينين ومانع مستقبل االنجيوتينسين 2 الباحث الرئيس: د.ايمان عمر شريف ملخص البحث: يعد عقار السيسبالتين من أحد العالجات الكيميائية االكثر فعالية ويلعب دورا رئيسيا في عالج مجموعة متنوعة من األورام التي قد تصيب اإلنسان. وعلى الرغم من فعاليته كعالج كيميائي إال أن استخدامه محدود نتيجة لسميته الكلوية الحادة. وال يزال منع حدوث سمية الكلي الناتجة عن استخدام السيسبالتين يشكل تحديا كبيرا ألنه ال توجد عالجات محددة لحماية الكلي تعرف حتي االن. والهدف من هذا العمل هو دراسة تأثير الخاليا الجذعية و مانع مستقبل األنجيوتنسين 2 ومثبط الرينين على إصابة الكلى الحاد الناجم عن عقار السيسبالتين في الجرذان لتقليل السمية الكلوية المحدثة به. و قد تم تقييم أثر الحماية الكلوية لخطوط العالج المستخدمة من خالل قياس مؤشرات االلتهاب و مؤشرات موت الخاليا المبرمج في الدم و النسيج الكلوي باستخدام طرق القياس اللونية وال ELISA و تفاعل البلمرة المتسلسل.RT-PCR وعالوة على ذلك تم فحص النسيج الكلوي. و تم استخدام برنامج 20 SPSS للتحليل اإلحصائي للنتائج بيانات النشر: Sherif,E.( 2015). 18 Project Title: Islamic terminology Researcher: Roqaya Mohammad Ateeg Abstract: There appears an urgent need for Da wah (the call to Islam) and for the people working in the field, despite their various areas of specialty, to update knowledge in terms of methodology and using different tools and creative ways to be more affective and persuasive. This is because of the profound transformations on all social, political, economic, cultural and intellectual levels and even because of the globalization that led to the overlapping in terms of nations, civilizations, languages and cultures. There are also the unprecedented and quick developments in the industries, inventions, communications and the emergence of information and technology. All of these rapid changes have to be taken into consideration by the people working in the field of Da wah so as to meet people s needs and thus be capable of better communicating and persuading them. Thus, with this awareness in perspective and with the fact that the profound knowledge and comprehension of terminology specially the updated ones in the field of Da wah are of prime significance to the people calling to Islam, the researcher feels the need of this project, Glossary of Islamic Terminology in Arabic and English, which offers a useful guide specially to non-arabic speakers who are interested in the field of Da wah and to anyone else in the field. The project aims at providing those people and all professionals of Islamic specialties with a scientific authentic and well-documented source of information. It also serves Islamic studies research centers abroad, consulates, embassies and all sectors interested in religions dialogues. This reminds of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques keen interest in religions dialogue which leads to better communication between people despite difference in creed and language, and this research is one way of bridging the gaps in terms of terminology which constitutes the basics of such dialogues. The project also provides faculty members of Islamic specialties with terminology that might be useful for participation in global conferences and seminars held in English. Last but not least, it helps students of Islamic studies with a significant knowledge of terminology that is not offered in the English courses they study in their programs. As for research methodology, the researcher chooses to apply the inductive, deductive and descriptive approaches as they vary according to the needs and nature of research. This variation in methodology meets the project s objectives since it focuses on the classification of the Islamic terminology, their definitions and how to use them in the field of Da wa in both English and Arabic languages. 19 Project Title: Foreign Maritime Piracy Against Indian Pilgrims and Its Impact On The East India Company In The 11th Hijri Century / 17th Century Researcher: Dr. Maha Ali Alkhoshel maalkhoshel@pnu.edu.sa Abstract: The sea route between India and Arabia across the Indian Ocean was of a major economic importance since ancient times, and a way of social and cultural communication among the countries on its shores. In addition to its importance for pilgrims annually coming from India. Since the beginning of modern times, Europeans begun arriving to the Indian Ocean region. By 1498, the Portuguese have founded for them centers on the western coast of India, then followed by the Dutch, French and English. And established business companies whose aim India s and the east trade. The Indian Ocean became a trade route crossed by ships loaded with shops that attracted the attention of pirates whose seeking wealth. Those pirates attacks targeted these vessels passing the Indian Ocean without differentiating between what is for European companies or the other countries. Some of those ships that were vulnerable to attack were of the Muslim Indians pilgrims ships. And soon the attacks of pirates especially the English collided with the interests of the Indian English company. For most of the ships crossing the Indian Ocean are for Indians, which was under the rule of the Muslim Mughal state. The increasing incidence of attacks on Indian ships effected the East Indian Company and its interests. This research aims to study foreign pirate attacks on Indian ships crossing the Indian Ocean and the factors that led to the aggravation of danger, and where do Mughal emperors stand of those attacks, and their impact on the commercial interests of the English East Indian Company during the period since the founding of the company in the early 17th century until the end of the era of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir ( AD). The research is divided into several sections, including: - Reasons that helped to increase European pirates attacks in that period, which are: - Examples of pirate attacks on Indian ships. - The Mughal Sultans stand from the pirate attacks. - English East Indian Company and their vulnerability to pirate attacks. A random sampling of chartered accountants in Saudi Arabia was investigated. 22 Project Title: The organization of academic advising at the University of Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman and ways of development in light of global trends (proposal) Researcher: Seham. Saleh kaki Abstract: The aim of this study is to propose a vision for the organization of Academic Advising at the University of Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman in the light of global trends. In terms of the following: A certain diagnosis of organizing academic advising at the University of Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman from the point of view of faculty members and students. Reach resolutions for future proposals to develop the organization of academic advising at the University, through the study. This will help in answering the question, which is: what mechanisms regulate Academic Advising at the University of Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman and what are the ways of development in light of global trends? In order to answer these study questions, the researchers designed an actual guidance application and academic study of global trends in the field of academic counseling. It was distributed to a random sample of the faculty members and students. Moreover, a personal interview was conducted with the heads of academic departments. Reasoning the results obtained, it is clear that the faculty members concentrate on trust, support, and motivation of the students, as well as in terms of academic guidance. This means that the members of the University of Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman should implement individual counseling. Moreover, the level of challenges facing academic guidance was low from the viewpoint of the heads of departments. This was proved by the varying percentage of (62.5%) and (93.8%), that deny the existence of the challenges mentioned in the table. Also, the difficulties faced by the students ranged between ( ), which represents a degree (non-absolute approval). Furthermore, the proposal that have received the highest level of support (100%) from the heads of departments is the use of technology in Academic Advising. As for the proposals that were agreed upon by the heads of departments are in fact an essential part of their mission in the maintenance of the academic standards at the University; especially regarding the students, the program, decisions, and learning outcomes. All these subjects can only be achieved through a serious follow-up of the students. The researchers settled on designing a comprehensive proposal to organize academic advising at the University of Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman in the light of global trends. 23 Project Title: The relationship between Organizational Climate and Work Stress among faculty members at the University of Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman Researcher: Maha Mohammad Alajmi Abstract: This study aims to monitor the reality of organizational climate and determine the level of work pressure among faculty members in the colleges of the University of Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman. And also determine the relationship between organizational climate and the work pressures with faculty members in colleges. Also, it will determine whether there are differences between the views of the members of the study towards the reality of the regulatory climate and the pressures of work according to (current job tasks, Degree, and the number of years of experience in the field of employment). Finally put proposal to raise job satisfaction and know how to deal with the pressures of work with faculty members at the University of Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman. The researchers will use descriptive analytical method in order to describe the phenomenon also occur in contemporary reality, and then analyzing the aspects and detect causes. Questionnaire will also be used a tool for gathering information, which was built on the basis of what has been referenced from the literature and previous studies relevant to the subject of the study. 24 Project Title: The Impact of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination Approach for Clinical Evaluation Skills on the Student s Performance in Nursing College Researcher: Eman Ali Moselhi Mater eman_ mater@yahoo.com Abstract: The objective structured clinical examination has been considered a modern type of examination for assessment of clinical skills within nursing education. The aim of the study was to compare between the performance of students regarding to their scores and grads by using objective structured clinical examination (OSCE)and traditional clinical examination (TCE) and to investigate student s perception about OSCE. A quasi-experimental study was used 100 student s scores and grads firstly as a control group (TCE) then as a study group(osce) at nursing college in Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University then the OSCE feedback questionnaire was completed by the student immediately after OSCE exam. The results of the study indicate that there were statistically significant differences between two groups for the practical examination score with accepted normal distribution curve for the student s grads. OSCE was considered as a fair examination method by 65% students and 69%of them felt it provides a true measure of essential clinical skills. Students preferred OSCE as method of assessing clinical competences and considered it a more valid and reliable method of examination. 25 Project Title: Effect of Ascorbic Acid antioxidant on Soybean (Glycine max L.) plants grown under water stress condition. Researcher: Amira Mohammad Falood Abstract: Pot experiments were conducted to determine the effect of different water regimes (100%, 80%, 60% and 40% of field capacity, FC)) on vegetative growth (plant height, leaf area and plant fresh and dry weights), photosynthetic pigments (chl a, chl b and carotenes), mineral content of leaves (N, P and K), proline content, yield components (pod and seed numbers/plant, seed weight/plant and 100 seed weight), nutritional value of produced seeds (N, P, K and Ca soluble sugars, total carbohydrate, total amino acids and protein contents). The role of ascorbic acid (0, 100, 200 and 300 mg l-1) in alleviating the effect of water stress was also studied. All growth parameters were significantly reduced with low treatment of FC (60% and 40%) while ascorbic acid, particularly at 100 and 200 mg l-1,tended to mitigate the harmful effect of high water deficit on growth and chemical constituents in soybean plants. It is suggested that Ascorbic acid could be a promising material used to reduce the harmful effect of water stress on the growth and yield of Glycine max.plants grown in Saudi Arabia. 26 Project Title: Statistical Analysis of Factorial Experiments for Quality Engineering and Similar Cases under Inverse Gaussian Model Researcher: Amina Ali Saleh Abstract: Factorial experiments with k-factors have varieties of applications in life testing and engineering reliability studies. In the last few decades, researchers became aware of the appropriateness of assuming an Inverse Gaussian Model instead of the Normal Model in order to analyze such experiments. However, previous researches provide no complete study for the case of two-factor, neither it provide any attempt to consider the more general case of K-factor experiments. In this article we reconsider the case of two-factor experiments and provide an explicit algebraically form of maximum likelihood estimators for all main effects and all sum of reciprocals. This new development enable us to provide a complete decomposition for the total sum of reciprocals and construct an ANOR table in a complete analogue to the ANOVA table under the Normal Model. This will provide a complete statistical analysis of such experiments. This work is extended to the case of three-factor experiment. First, we considered the additive model that containing all main effects and obtain explicit algebraically form of the maximum likelihood estimators for the main effects. This procedure can be generalized to any k-factor additive model. Then, we considered some sub models of the complete three factor model, in particular, sub models with one main effect and one interaction effect, and sub models with two interaction effects. For those sub models we were again able to obtain an explicit form of the maximum likelihood estimators for the main effect and for the interaction effects. These estimators allow us to provide a perfect decomposition for the total sum of reciprocals and again to construct an ANOR table in a complete analogue to the ANOVA table under the Normal Model for the case of three-factor experiment. 27 Project Title: Determination of Radium in Water by Gamma Spectrometry Using Commercial Cation Exchange Resins: Comparison and Validation Researcher: Aljawhara Hammad almuqren Abstract: A series of laboratory tests have been conducted to evaluate the quantitative retention of 226Ra by three different strong cation exchange resins under varying conditions. The influence of the maximum flow rate, which could be obtained with the extraction chromatography columns, was tested. The Radium Selective Complexer (RSC) showed a relatively higher adsorption capacity for radium with an average 226Ra recovery of 96.4%. The effect of increasing the amounts of the competing Ca and Mg ions on the uptake of 226Ra by the three types of resins has been evaluated. The Purolite resin showed a relatively higher adsorption capacity for radium in water samples that have Ca and Mg ions as high as 3000 mg/l. The average radium recovery achieved by the Purolite resin was 90.7%. The influence of Iron (III) on the recovery of radium using the three types of resins was significant. The maximum 226Ra recovery obtained was 89.9% using the Purolite resin. A groundwater sample was analyzed for 226Ra and measured by gamma spectrometry using the three types of resins, and also analyzed by alpha spectrometry and a radon detector (RAD-7) for comparison. The recoveries of 226Ra achieved by the three types of resins were comparable, and the results of comparison with the different techniques were very encouraging for the use of such water softener resins in the extraction of radium isotopes from large number of groundwater samples, when rapid and inexpensive method is needed. This study aimed to determine the students of university housing problems (academic, social, and psychological) of residents with housing, who reached (227) students went to their stay in the residence for at least two semesters, This study belongs descriptive studies, depended on social survey method through a few sample non-probability (intentional) and through the identification of special conditions for the selection of the students sample of the university housing female students at Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh. 31 Project Title: Renoprotective effects of angiotensin receptor blocker and stem cells in acute kidney injury: Involvement of inflammatory and apoptotic markers. Researcher: Eman Omar Sherief Abstract: Cisplatin, Cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (CDDP), is a platinum-based chemotherapy drug, and its chemotherapeutic use is restricted by nephrotoxicity. Inflammatory and apoptotic mechanisms play a central role in the pathogenesis of CDDP-induced acute kidney injury (AKI). The aim of this study was to compare the therapeutic potential of candesartan, angiotensin II receptor blocker, versus bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) in a rat model of CDDP-induced nephrotoxicity. Adult male Wistar rats (n ¼ 40) were divided into four groups; Normal control: received saline injection, CDPP group: received CDDP injection (6 mg/kg single dose), Candesartan group: received candesartan (10 mg/kg/ day) for 10 days þ CDDP at day 3, and Stem cells group: received CDDP þ BM-MSCs intravenously one day after CDDP injection. The rats were sacrificed seven days after CDDP injection. Significant elevation in serum creatinine and urea, renal levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-a and monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP)-1, renal expressions of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB), p38-mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), caspase-3 and Bcl-2-associated x protein (Bax) were found in CDDP-injected rats when compared to normal rats. Both candesartan and BM-MSCs ameliorated renal function and reduced significantly the inflammatory markers (TNF-a, NF-jB, p38- MAPK and MCP-1) and apoptotic markers (caspase-3 and Bax) in renal tissue after CDDP injection. Candesartan as well as BM-MSCs have anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic actions and they can be used as nephroprotective agents against CDDP-induced nephrotoxicity.
