Savaria Szimfonikus Zenekar, karmester Howard Williams The iece was commissioned by Filharmonia Budaest Ltd. for the oening concert of the International Bartók Festival, Szombathely. There are 4 tracks in the iece to be layed from CD-layer or lato. If you use a lato, a AX/SP file for the erformance can be hired from the comoser for the erformance together with the music material. The music material of the recordings are fragments and sections from I got Rhythm originally erformed by George Gershwin. The soundfiles were edited by the comoser. Hangfájlok (a zongorista vagy a hangtechnikus kezeli) A hangfájlok lejátszása a zongorista feladata. A fájlok szám szerint megjelölve szereelnek a kottában, valamint a megszólaló zene részleteit a kotta is közli. A mellékelt AX/SP fájlban a lejátszandó fájl száma és a latoon megnyomandó billenty! is szereel. A hangfájl lejátszása egy újabb hang lejátszásakor abbamarad, de a sace gomb segítségével is le lehet állítani a lejátszást. Az egyes hangok végén elegend" hosszúságú id" maradt, hogy lassabb temó mellett is szóljon az alazaj. (A darab ideje alatt gyakorlatilag folyamatos hanglemezzaj hallható.) A lemezzaj külön fájlként is lejátszható. (IDI billenty!zet is használható, ezesetben szükséges a fájl átrogramozása e billenty!kre.) Az egyes fájlok dinamikai arányát a róba során célszer! egyenként beállítani vagy a hanger" változtatását bízzuk a hangtechnikusra. Dinamika A kottában szerel" dinamikai jelek a játékosok által megszólaltatott hanger"t jelentik. Ezért egyes szólamokban a dinamikai jelek id"nként segédjelzéssel láthatók mf (= ), ami azt jelenti, hogy a játékosnak mezzoforte dinamikával kell játszani, ami az adott körülmények között iano fog szólni. Ennek oka a seciális játékmód (l. nyelv-, csak leveg"fúvás (zaj), stb.) vagy a rézfúvósok által használt sordino. A karmester számára a darabban lév" üres ütemekben, ütemrészekben a zenekar nem játszik, de a lemezzaj folyamatosan hallható. Ezen ütemeket ugyanúgy dirigálni kell, mintha a zenekar játszana. Ennek széls"séges éldája a 66-88. ütemig tartó szakasz, melyben a artitúrában közölt helyeken () meg kell állni, majd rögtön tovább dirigálni. Az itt beírt hangszeres anyagokat a megfelel" karakterrel be kell inteni, de ezen anyagok a zenészek szólamaiban nem szereelnek, "k nem játsanak semmit. A metrum nélküli ütemekben is adott a vezénylés ritmusa, melyet célszer! követni. Soundfiles (triggered by the ianist or the sound-technician) It is the task of the ianist to trigger the soundfiles. Th files are signed by numbers in the score, some sections of the music can also be seen in the score. The ianist can see the number of the actual tracks to be triggered in the AX/SP file and also the the key which is needed to be ressed. The sound of the files is stoed when another file is triggered, although it can be stoed with the sacebar too. There is enough time after each music excert until the next one so that even in slower temo the basic noise can be heard. (the noise of an LP layer is all the time heard while the iece is on.) The static noise can be triggered as searate file too. A IDI Keyboard may be used for the files to lay. In this case the SP file must be rogrammed to behave like that. The dynamic ratio of the actual tracks should be balanced during the rehearsals. However, it can be balanced by the sound-technician too. Dynamics The dynamic markings in the score are erformers dynamics. Therefore auxiliary dynamics are to be found at certain oints in some arts, e.g. mf (= ). This means that the musician must lay mezzoforte, which will sound iano in the given circumstances. The reasons for this are the secial laying techniques (e.g. tongue-, just breathing out (noise), etc.) or the mutes used by the brass layers. Conductor s note nobody is laying in the emty bars and sections of bars of the iece but the static noise of the LP layer can always be heard. These bars are to be conducted as if the orchestra would lay. An extreme examle of this idea is the section between m. 66-88 where the hand must sto for a while if signed () then kee on conducting. The instrumental materials in this section are to be cued, however, these are not to be layed by the musicians as they see only rests in their arts. It is also suggested to follow the given conducting rhythm in the measures without time-signature.
