So right away I found out something about biology: it was very easy to find a question that was very interesting, and that nobody knew the answer to. Surely You re Joking, Mr. Feynman!

A termo-optikai effektus révén, azaz ultragyors, lokális hőcsomagok hatására - a disszipáció ill. a termikusan instabil szerkezeti elem(ek) közvetlen molekuláris környezetében, valószínűleg kationok közvetítésével, alacsony kvantumhatásfokkal - elemi szerkezetváltozások játszódnak le, melyek makroszkópikus reverzibilis változásként ((i) unstacking, (ii) laterális átrendeződés, (iii) LHCII monomerizáció) észlelhetők. Ez a mechanizmus eleget tesz a szerkezeti stabilitás és flexibilitás kettős követelményének. A fizikai mechanizmus részleteit, a szerkezetváltozások pontosabb természetét és fotofizikaifiziológiai jelentőségét vizsgáljuk.
