MIRE VALÓK A FOLYAMATOS IGEIDŐK? Most épp focizom. (I am playing football now.) folyamatos jelen Tegnap 5 órakor épp fociztam. (I was playing football at 5 yesterday.) folyamatos múlt Holnap 5 órakor épp focizni fogok. (I will be playing football at 5 tomorrow.) folyamatos jövő Ha a magyarban ki akarjuk fejezni ezt a jelentésárnyalatot, többnyire az épp/éppen szót tesszük bele a mondatba. (Ez az angolban nem kell, mert a folyamatos igealak pontosan ezt váltja ki.) hosszan (egy időszakaszon át) folyó cselekvés vagy változásos folyamat pl. Eszem. (I am eating.) folyamatos jelen Egy órahosszáig ettem. (I was eating for an hour.) folyamatos múlt Egy órahosszáig fogok enni. (I will be eating for an hour.) folyamatos jövő A magyarban jellemző, hogy ezt a hosszan tartósságot úgy különböztetjük meg a mozzanatosságtól (l. egyszerű igeidők), hogy nem teszünk igekötőt az igéhez, vagy ha van igekötő, azt nem az ige elé, hanem mögé tesszük. pl. Hunytam le(felé) a szemem. ez folyt angolban: folyamatos igeidő: I was closing my eyes. (v.ö.: Lehunytam a szemem. egy pillanatig tartott angolban: egyszerű igeidő: I closed my eyes.) a szokásostól eltérő, ideiglenes cselekvés pl. Ezen a héten egy szállodában lakom. (I am living in a hotel this week.) folyamatos jelen A múlt héten szállodában laktam. (I was living in a hotel last week.) folyamatos múlt A jövő héten szállodában fogok lakni. (I will be living in a hotel next week.)
folyamatos jövő EGYSZERŰ vs. FOLYAMATOS SZEMLÉLET - TÁBLÁZATBAN EGYSZERŰ szokásos, valamilyen gyakorisággal ismétlődő cselekvés I play football every day. I played football every day. I will play football every day. Jellemző a gyakoriságot kifejező időhatározó. egyetlen pillanatig tartó (mozzanatos) cselekvés I close my eyes. I closed my eyes. I will close my eyes. A magyarban jellemző az igekötő (az ige előtt). (pl. Felálltam.) egyszerű tény közlése, állapot, érzés vélemény kifejezése I live here. I lived here. I will live here. FOLYAMATOS a szokásostól eltérő, ideiglenes cselekvés I am living in a hotel this week. I was living in a hotel last week. I will be living in a hotel next week. egy adott időpontban éppen folyó cselekvés I am playing football now. I was playing football at 5 yesterday. I will be playing football at 5 tomorrow. Álltam felfelé.) hosszan (egy időszakaszon át) folyó cselekvés I am eating all day today. I was eating all day yesterday. I will be eating all day tomorrow. Jellemző az időszakasz hosszát kiemelő időhatározó. A FOLYAMATOS IGEIDŐKRE JELLEMZŐ IDŐHATÁROZÓK Néhány időhatározó időtartamot, időhosszt határoz meg. Ezek mellett sokszor jellemző a folyamatos igeforma. FROM TO ( -tól -ig) ALL day / week / month / year etc. (egész nap / héten / hónapban / évben) DURING ( alatt/folyamán) pl. I was watching TV from 8 to 10. (8-tól 10-ig TV-t néztem.) Mary is smiling all day. (Mary egész nap mosolyog.)
We will be sleeping during the journey. (Az utazás alatt aludni fogunk.) FOLYAMATOS JELEN (Present Continuous) ALAKJA A folyamatos jelen segédigéje: E/1: AM; E/3: IS; E/2, T/1, T/2, T/3: ARE Ezt használjuk kijelentő, állító mondatokban és kérdezéskor, valamint tagadáskor is! Ehhez kapcsolódik az adott ige (főige) ING-es alakja. Tehát: KIJELENTŐ, ÁLLÍTÓ (NEM TAGADÓ) MONDATBAN: AM/IS/ARE + a főige ING-es alakja pl. This is my family. We are having a photo taken. I am standing between my son and husband. My son is smiling. (Ez a családom. Épp fényképezkedünk. A fiam és a férjem között állok. A fiam mosolyog.) ÖSSZEVONÁS: - Az am/is/are segédige az alannyal összevonható. pl. He is writing. = He s writing. They are sleeping = They re sleeping. I am reading. = I m reading. TAGADÁS: a segédige után kerül a not tagadószó: AM/IS/ARE + NOT + az ige ING-es alakja pl. My daughter is not standing. (A lányom nem áll.) We are not crying. (Nem sírunk.) ÖSSZEVONÁS: - Az is és are segédige a not tagadószóval összevonható, az am viszont nem!: pl. He is not writing. = He isn t writing. We are not sleeping = We aren t sleeping. KÉRDEZÉS: a segédige az alany elé kerül: AM/IS/ARE + ALANY + az ige ING-es alakja pl. Is the dog smiling too? (A kutya is mosolyog?) Why are the dog and my daughter squinting?
HASZNÁLATA (szembeállítva az egyszerű jelennel) EGYSZERŰ JELEN szokásos, valamilyen gyakorisággal ismétlődő jelenbeli cselekvés I usually read a book in the evening. (Este általában egy könyvet olvasok.) Jellemző a gyakoriságot kifejező időhatározó. egyetlen pillanatig tartó (mozzanatos) jelenbeli esemény And now he drinks it. (És most megissza.) Álltam felfelé.) a jelen időszakában hosszan folyó cselekvés He is drinking all day today. (Ma egész nap iszik.) - Jellemző az időszakasz hosszát kiemelő időhatározó.
