Hungarian Vehicle Engineering Cluster members and their main products Regional highlights
HVEC aims to co-ordinate the activities of Hungarian engineering companies operating in the field of vehicle or vehicle part development. HVEC intends to assist them by joint marketing operations in targeted countries, support the know-how transfer among employees and run a knowledge database for members. Sectorial focus: The HVEC would help with complex solutions, services for companies which are already engaged or wish to be active in R&D activities in the field of vehicle development. The service covers vehicle-related development in a broad sense: from passenger cars to trucks and buses, but also airplanes, boats and new mobility solutions. HVEC has been established to implement joint innovation projects as well as to support individual inventors and help to establish new companies and spin-offs (MICRON, M55). HVEC co-operates with research centres, universities, intermediaries in the field of innovation and economic development, clusters and networks. Focusing on CE, REZIPE will create momentum for zero emission vehicles fed by renewable energy, developing and validating p o l i c y t o o l s comprising financial, regulatory and awareness initiatives. The energy used in ZEVs should come from renewable and/or clean energy in order not to impair the well-to-wheel balance. REZIPE will approach the problems in its 42 months duration by a knowledge based approach. Pannon Novum worked on the common tasks 4 periods without Project Budget. Our co-financing contract is not signed yet (trilateral VÁTI-PN- PBN). The decision of the JTS was made about the increased investment for the mobile charging station last week. We have to work hard to balance our cashflow while we will use up two years budget in the elongation (7th Period). The reporting of the project is strong delayed: today from 6 closed Periods only the first 3 were closed and reported. It can occur further problems in our cash-flow (credit will be needed which cannot be financed by the project).
Overview of the Workpackages: WP1 comprises the co-ordination using state-of-the-art project management tools. Pannon Novum (PN): managing the project, Consortial meetings, reporting, etc. WP2 is providing outbound communication and dissemination, also hosting the on-line portal. PN: media communication/dissemination, flyers, posters, press articles/releases WP3 will research and provide all information in order to conduct the demonstrators successfully.
