A message from our Pastor The faith that leads us to give thanks The first reality of human history are the free gis of God, such as the creaon, existence, life, the spiritual gis. It is awareness of the gis of God. Thanksgiving is enthusiasm for this generosity with in an amazed soul; it is joyful recognion before the Chrisan is not one who Eucharist, which is the most sublime of Chrisan worship act, literally means "thanksgiving." Gratude is born of a sense of "debt", that is, to experience life as receiving, not as taking. God does not ask for gratude as if we were benefactors. The gratude that God desires is our appreciaon gis and do not leave them in the dust out of habit or boredom. Each of us has a "Eucharisc" task. In other Gratude is a feeling of who recognize themselves as a debtor and seeks always to be one. It does not intended to be paid by check, money or p. Giving thanks to someone does not mean seling a case ("no longer expect anything from me" or "I do not want to hear from you"), but connual communion that makes I find the joy of saying thank you because I intend to read things under the sign of the gi, instead of placing them as an acquision with a value and price. Fr. Andrés Arango
