She suffered a season ending injury after Penn State and did not compete the rest of the year. Beck took her rehab seriously, worked hard and began practicing at the end of the season. She was honored with Academic All-Big Ten and made the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for her efforts in the classroom. Freshman Jordyn Beck suffered a season-ending injury prior to the start of Beck joined the Huskers after training with McCrackens Gymnastics under coaches Mary McDaniel, Amber McCracken and Sarah Haase. She was a three-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier, finishing in a tie for sixth on bars in 2011 and third on bars and eighth in the all-around in Beck also qualified for Junior Olympic Nationals in 2011 after finishing second on beam at the Region III qualifying meet and adding a fourth-place finish on bars. An international elite level gymnast, Beck won a total of 15 state event and all-around titles in Kansas. She chose Nebraska over Arkansas, Washington, Missouri and Kentucky. Beck was born June 12, 1994 in Overland Park, Kan. She is the daughter of Kevin and Dawn Beck and has a brother, Austin and a sister, Mackenzi. Beck was a four year honor roll member at Blue Valley West in Overland Park and was also a National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society member. All season long she provided a solid punch in the all-around with junior Jessie DeZiel and senior Emily Wong. Blanske proved to be one of the Huskers most valuable gymnasts and continually provided clutch performances in every event. Blanske did not miss a meet all season in the all-around delivering her best performance at the Big Ten Championships soaring to a Her performance included two career-high scores on floor (9.95) and beam (9.90) en-route to finishing as the Big Ten all-around all-around runner up. She was named to the Big Ten Championship team for both beam, floor and the all-around. She notched a career-high score of 9.90 on bars at the Masters Classic as she tallied her third individual event title on the season. Blanske hit three scores of 9.90 or better on floor during her sophomore campaign and moved into the second-to-last spot in the lineup with her strong routine. At the NCAA Championships Blanske proved her strength as a powerful beam worker as she recorded a career-high matching 9.90 on beam at the team Semifinals and at the Super Six Finals. She took 10th place overall on beam with a 9.85 mark at the Event Finals. Hollie Blanske battled back from an offseason knee injury to become a solid three-event competitor for the Huskers in her first season. Appearing on vault, bars and floor for NU, Blanske logged season-high scores of 9.85 or better on each apparatus while becoming one of the squad s top vaulters by the end of the 2013 season. Blanske came on strong late in the season for Nebraska, posting or tying career-bests on all three events during the month of March. She was a crucial part of Nebraska s Big Ten Championshipwinning efforts on March 23, finishing in a tie for sixth on floor (9.90) and earning co-big Ten Champion honors on vault (9.95). Blanske also earned her first career All-Big Ten Championship Team award for her vaulting performance. She finished the 2013 season with a trio of individual titles, including two on vault and one on floor. Blanske also notched a fourth-place finish on vault at the NCAA Morgantown Regional, posting a to come in behind co-champions Jessie DeZiel, Emily Wong and Brittany Skinner, who all earned 9.95 s. Blanske came to Nebraska after competing under coaches Mike Hunger, Sami Wozney, Sarah Jantzi and Rich Stenger at Twin City Twisters alongside fellow Husker Jessie DeZiel. Blanske was a four-time Junior Olympic National qualifier and a Junior Olympic National Team Member in 2010 and She was a 2011 Junior Olympic National all-around champion, posting a score of She was also a national champion on bars (9.625) and floor (9.775) in Blanske captured three regional titles at Twin City and was the 2011 Region IV Co-Regional Gymnast of the Year. Blanske is the daughter of Jim and Michelle Blanske and was born April 1, She has two brothers, Brent and Bo and one sister, Jamie. A native of Oak Grove, Minn., Blanske was a three year honor roll selection at St. Francis High School and graduated with honors. She is a business marketing major at Nebraska. 5

The seven-time All-American defended her status as one of the nation s best allaround competitors by capturing 10 event titles, including two in the all-around and five on vault. She capped her season at the 2014 NCAA Championships by putting together a stellar performance to place eighth overall in the all-around competition (39.500). DeZiel was also an integral part of the Huskers historical beam lineup, where she posted a 9.90 to earn first team All-America status and fueled the Big Red to its 11th Super Six Appearance. DeZiel took home her second consecutive Regional vault title with a score of 9.95, while also placing third in the all-around to help the Huskers reach the NCAA Championships. She captured NACGC/W second-team All-America honors on vault for her efforts during the regular season as she tallied her career-high score twice. At the conference level, DeZiel claimed First-Team All-Big Ten and Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors after winning the Masters Classic all-around crown (39.525). At the Big Ten Championships DeZiel tied for second on bars with a 9.90 and third on vault hitting a score, she collected All-Big Ten Championship team honors on both events. In her freshman season at Nebraska, DeZiel captured three All-America honors and was named the NCAA Salt Lake City Regional all-around champion to help lead the Huskers. DeZiel capped off her year at the NCAA Championships where she became a first-team All-American on the floor and all-around, while earning second-team All-America honors on vault. DeZiel took home the Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Year award. DeZiel was the Big Ten Floor Champion and finished in second in the all-around to earn spot on the All-Big Ten Championship team on each event. At regionals, DeZiel was the all-around, vault and floor champion. In her sophomore season DeZiel finished eighth in the country at the NCAA Championships to earn second-team All-America honors. She also posted a on beam to earn second-team All-America honors on the event as an individual at the championship meet. DeZiel earned or shared Big Ten Gymnast of the Week honors twice this season, giving her 14 career weekly honors overall. She was also one of nine Huskers named to the Academic All-Big Ten listing for the winter season. Prior to NCAA competition, DeZiel earned NACGC/W first-team All-America honors on vault and in the all-around for the regular season. DeZiel was the 2013 Big Ten Runner-Up in the all-around (39.625), tying for second place on floor (9.95) and first on vault (9.95). She took home three All-Big Ten Championship Team honors at the championship meet (V, FX, AA) as she anchored Nebraska s efforts on floor and vault and boosted the Big Red to their third-straight conference title. She also competed as one of NU s three all-arounders at the NCAA Morgantown Regional, posting a and winning the ensuing tiebreaker to qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual competitor. DeZiel competed for Mike Hunger at Twin City Twisters in Champlin, Minn. DeZiel, an elite level gymnast, arrived at Nebraska after representing the United States at the 2011 Pan American Games where she helped the U.S. team capture gold, and posted the team s highest scores on vault (15.125), beam (13.275) and floor exercise (13.150), with her vault score being the highest in the entire competition. DeZiel was also a two-time Junior Olympic allaround champion (2010, 2011), and a five-time JO qualifier. She finished 17th at the Visa Nationals in DeZiel was born on August 12, 1993, in Crystal, Minn. She is the daughter of Craig and Jean DeZiel and has one sister, Brittany. She started her freshman campaign not in a single lineup and finished out the season competing as a three event specialist on vault, bars and beam. In her collegiate gymnastics debut against Michigan Laeng took second place on bars behind Emily Wong hitting a career-high and remained in the rotation for the rest of the season. Laeng showed her prowess on bars early in the year, as she became one of the Huskers most consistent performers on the event by scoring a 9.80 or better seven times throughout the season. In addition, Laeng competed in the all-around competition three times earning her best performance at the Big Ten quad meet of to boost the Huskers efforts to claim the Big Ten regular-season Conference Title. She contributed important floor routines recording her career-high 9.85 against Arkansas on senior night. Laeng capped her freshman season at the Super Six Finals where she notched her career-high 9.90 on beam. In the classroom, she earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor roll in the fall. Laeng joined the Huskers after training with Olympic Dreams Gymnastics under coaches Gary and Dawn Toussaint. At the 2011 Junior Olympic National Invitational Laeng had a breakout performance taking the vault (9.575) and beam (9.575) titles. These event crowns as well as strong performances on floor and bars named her the all-around champion with a score of Laeng claimed the 2012 state bar title in Pa. A competitor at the 2012 Junior National Championships Laeng recorded her best all-around score of Laeng was born on June 2, 1995 in Sharon, Pa. She is the daughter of Jack and Joni Laeng and has one sister Jacalyn and one brother Scotty. In high school she participated in the National Honor Society, Environmental Science Club, Student Council and was on honor roll all four years. Jennie is majoring in psychology at Nebraska.

In five meets, she never dropped below a score. Lambert took home the vault title at Iowa, in late January, notching a career-high 9.90 mark. She also made her debut on floor hitting a strong performance to record another career-high 9.80 on the event. After falling to illness mid-season, Lambert was limited to practice only but remained on reserve for both the vault and floor lineups for the rest of the season. In the classroom, she earned Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall. Lambert competed for World Class Gymnastics in Newport News, Va., under the coaching of Tami Harrison and Troy Miller. A five-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier, Lambert took home the beam title at the 2013 J.O Nationals. At the 2013 Regionals she posted a 9.60 on beam and a on floor to capture both event titles, while finishing second in the all-around with a score of Ashley Lambert was born on March 4, 1995 in Springfield, Va. Lambert is the daughter of Steve and Tonia Lambert and has one sister, Alyssa and one brother, Steve. Lambert was on the Honor Roll all four years in high school and was heavily involved in the culinary club from which she graduated with honors. She is a dietetics major at Nebraska. Lauer established herself early in 2014 as a beam specialist and never gave up her spot in the lineup all year. She tallied 14 routines on beam and never recorded a fall in the leadoff position. At the 2014 NCAA Championships Lauer was the spark to the historical beam lineup by putting together a seamless performance claiming her career-high 9.85 score. Her efforts propelled the Huskers to the Super Six Finals the following night. Lauer came on strong towards the end of the season moving into the bars lineup adding crucial routines. She picked up her career-high 9.85 score at the Big Ten Championships in March. Lauer is a standout in the classroom collecting Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors. Lauer worked to increase her skill set and adjust to the competition level of collegiate gymnastics in her first year at Nebraska. She was recognized for her work in the classroom following the 2012 season, earning NACGC/W Scholastic All-America honors. Amanda Lauer has provided necessary depth to the Husker roster in the 2013 season. Lauer also saw exhibition competition several times during the year on beam, posting a high score of against Illinois on Feb. 1. Lauer earned her first career Academic All-Big Ten award. Lauer competed for coaches Mike Durante and Stephanie Kelly at Premiere Gymnastics in Omaha, Neb. Lauer was a Junior Olympic National Qualifier for two consecutive years (2009, 2010) and placed sixth on beam in Lauer was the 2010 Regional beam champion and placed second in the allaround. In addition, she was named the Nebraska beam champion at the state meet in 2010 and 2011, and the bars champion in Lauer placed fourth among Level 10 gymnasts at the 2011 Derby Classic, where she posted a all-around score. Lauer was born on March 30, 1993, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Lauer is the daughter of Dan and Kim Lauer, and has a twin sister, Jen, who is also on the team. Lauer was a 4.0 student at Sioux City East High School and was also part of the National Honor Society. Lauer is majoring in nutrition science at Nebraska. 7

Prior to her injury Lauer knocked down five beam titles in five showings on the event, highlighted by her performance at Penn State where she earned Big Ten event specialist of the Week honors after taking her fifth beam crown with a score of She earned career-high marks of 9.90 on bars against Minnesota and twice on floor during her short season. Lauer was ranked in the nation s top 15 on beam for first straight weeks of the 2014 season. She took home her second Academic All-Big Ten honor for her work in the classroom. Lauer provided Nebraska with solid depth on three events throughout her freshman campaign, seeing action on vault, beam and floor. Lauer s consistency enabled her to be called up to compete for the Huskers at the NCAA Salt Lake City Regional on vault (9.850), beam (9.800) and floor (9.725). She also competed in her first NCAA Semifinal for the Big Red on March 20, finishing with a score of on beam. In her sophomore year, Jennifer Lauer came on strong to secure her spot as one of Nebraska s top beam workers in her second year at Nebraska. Lauer opened the 2013 season with a splash at Michigan, posting the nation s top beam score with a 9.95 on Jan. 12. She posted nine routines of 9.85 or higher while capturing a team-best five titles on the event this season. Lauer put in another stellar performance on beam at the Big Ten Championships, earning a share of the conference title with her 9.90 performance. Already a first-team All-Big Ten selection, she also took home All-Big Ten Championship Team honors for her efforts at the meet. She captured her first career Academic All-Big Ten award in the week following the conference championships. Lauer competed for coaches Mike Durante and Stephanie Kelly at Premiere Gymnastics in Omaha, Neb. Lauer was a four-time Junior Olympic National Qualifier and finished 29th at the 2011 JO meet. In the 2011 Region IV meet, Lauer finished fourth (37.175) in the all-around and posted the best vault (9.6) and bars (9.4) scores. Lauer was the 2010 Nebraska bars, floor and all-around state champion. At the 2010 JO National Championships, Lauer placed fifth on bars and took 21st on beam. A powerful performer on floor and vault, Ariel Martin sat out the 2013 season due to injury. Martin joined the Huskers after training at the Illinois Gymnastics Institute under Todd Gardiner. Martin was a key member of IGI s two state championship teams in 2009 and 2011, but also achieved a great deal as an individual. She had an excellent showing at the 2011 Region V Championships, finishing first in the all-around in the Senior B division, scoring a Martin snagged first-place finishes on vault, beam and floor en route to victory. A competitor at the 2010 Junior Olympic Championships, Martin finished third in the Junior D division all-around with a score of Her third-place finish included second on vault and fourth on floor. As a business administration major she earned her first Academic All-Big Ten Conference honor as well as making Nebraska honor roll for the fall of A native of Lincoln, Madison McConkey took the 2013 season to adjust to the competition level of collegiate gymnastics. She got off to a solid start in the classroom by claiming a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of McConkey trained alongside teammate Jamie Schleppenbach at the Nebraska School of Gymnastics under Tim and Rachel Garrison. A three-time Junior Olympic National qualifier, McConkey has finished second (2009), fifth (2010) and third (2011) in the Region IV all-around competition. She also competed at the Kansas City Pink Ribbon Invitational in 2011, finishing first on bars (9.575), third on floor (9.550) and fourth on beam (9.45). She earned first team All-America honors at the 2014 NCAA Championships after posting her career-high 9.90 on beam in the Semifinals to boost NU to its 11th appearance at the Super Six Finals. Schleppenbach, logging 15 performances on beam was one of the Huskers most consistent workers never dropping below a 9.75 during the regular season. Her hard work paid off at the NCAA Event Finals where she put together a seamless routine that tied for third-place overall. The two event specialist also contributed vital performances on floor all season long. Only missing one meet Schleppenbach claimed her career high mark of 9.85 at Penn State in early February. She also earned her second Academic All-Big Ten honor as a PR and Advertising major during the season. One of Nebraska s most consistent workers on vault and floor, Schleppenbach claimed a spot as a key component to Head Coach Dan Kendig s roster in her first season. She has displayed an ability to hit big routines for the Huskers in clutch situations, posting or tying several of her career-best scores in NCAA team competition or at high-stakes regular season meets. She captured first-team All-America honors on vault in 2011 while helping the Huskers to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Super Six Team Finals her freshman season. Schleppenbach has also found success at the conference level, earning All-Big 12 honors (2011), second-team All-Big Ten accolades (2012) and two all-conference championship team appearances (2011, 2012). Jamie Schleppenbach fell to a season-ending injury during warm-ups at the Masters Classic in late February. Prior to her injury, Schleppenbach was plugged into the Husker lineup as a two-event specialist early in the season. She contributed solid scores on vault and floor to boost Nebraska s team efforts in five total appearances. The junior captured two vault titles in just four showings on the event, taking home top honors at Michigan in January and against Illinois in early February. She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in March for her performance in the classroom. Schleppenbach competed for coaches Tim and Rachel Garrison at Nebraska School of Gymnastics in Lincoln. She was the 2005 and 2006 Level 9 Region IV All-Around Champion. She took second in the allaround at the 2009 Level 10 Region IV Championships, while placing fifth in the all-around at the 2010 Region IV Championships. She competed at the Level 10 Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 and took fourth on vault. The Omaha, Neb., native, who competed some of the Huskers strongest tumbling, tied her season best on floor exercise (9.825) four times over the course of the year, including postseason competition at the NCAA Semifinal and Super Six Finals in Birmingham. In addition, Stephens was among NU s most consistent vaulters, as she posted a 9.80 or better on the event in 12 meets. She enjoyed one of her finest showings at the NCAA Seattle Regional where she posted a career-high 9.90 to tie for fifth place overall with teammate Emily Wong. She also took home second-place against Minnesota on Feb. 1 with a on the event. Known as the team s sparkplug, Stephens moved into the bar lineup for the 2014 season and never gave up her spot, competing in 12 meets. She claimed her career-high score of against Northern Illinois for the season opener. In the classroom, she added Academic All-Big Ten honors. Stephens saw limited action during her freshman season with the Huskers, primarily contributing depth on vault. She recorded one of the best senior seasons by a Nebraska gymnast in school history. Through the regular-season, Wong captured 32 event titles, remained undefeated in the all-around and posted some of the top scores in the country. Her momentum inspired the entire Nebraska gymnastics team to one of the best starts to a season since 1997 by going 5-0. Wong took home three All-America honors at the 2014 NCAA Championships to give her 11 total honors to tie with Emily Parsons and Heather Brink for the most in school history. In semifinals Wong put up a allaround score to finish fifth overall. On floor, Wong performed her famous routine one last time at the event finals notching a 9.90 mark and finish in ninth, while also adding a 14 place finish on beam. At the conference level she earned Big Ten Gymnast of the Week five times and at the Big Ten Championships she collected two career-high scores on beam (9.95) and floor posting a perfect Wong is only the second Husker gymnast to record a on the event behind Richelle Simpson. She was awarded Big Ten Gymnast of the Year after the meet for her efforts during the season. She took home her 10th all-around crown at the 2014 NCAA Seattle Regional by delivering a notable performance. She tallied a career-high 9.95 on bars and 9.90 on floor to notch both event titles en-route to the all-around crown (39.625). Wong continued to stockpile honors both in the gym and the classroom in 2014, as she was selected as Nebraska s Female Student-Athlete of the Year and a Honda Award Finalist. Wong became the second Nebraska gymnast presented with the AAI American Award, an honor annually given to the nation s top gymnast on the basis of athleticism, academic excellence and civic responsibility. Wong was also awarded the Big Ten Medal of honor and Big Ten Wayne Duke Postgraduate Scholarship.
