Doktori címét a biológia területén szerezte, kandidátus a filozófiai tudományokban lett, akadémiai doktori címét pedig pszichológiai tárgyú kutatásaiért kapta. Kutatási területe széles tematikát ölel fel: párválasztás, önzetlenség és együttműködés, machiavellizmus, reproduktív stratégiák, anyai gondoskodás. Munkatársaival és hallgatóival létrehozta a Pécsi Evolúciós Pszichológia Kutató Csoportot (www.evoluciospszichologia.hu), amely több párhuzamosan futó kutatási programot működtet. Bereczkei Tamás több nemzetközi társaság tagja, a Journal of Evolutionary Psychology szerkesztője. (www.bereczkei.hu) Tamas Bereczkei (Prof. Dr.) is the director of the Institute of Psychology in the University of Pécs. He has graduated as a biologist, received his PhD degree in philosophy, and obtained the title of a doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Science in psychology. His research area is evolutionary psychology and the related issues in cognitive, social and developmental psychology. He has been conducting studies in various topics, such as altruism, Machiavellianism, mate choice, parental care, and others. He has published 8 books and near 100 papers in various journals and books, in English and Hungarian languages. He is the editor of Journal of Evolutionary Psychology, and a member of several scientific communities. He established the Evolutionary Psychology Research Group of Pécs (www.evolutionpsychology.com) (www.bereczkei.hu). Birher Nándor (Ph.D., Dr. habil.) főiskolai tanár a Veszprémi Érseki Hittudományi Főiskolán. Egyetemi docens a Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem Állam és Jogtudományi Karán, Budapesten, a Jogelmélet Tanszéken. A Károli Gáspár Református Egyetem Állam- és Jogtudományi Karának oktatási és minőségbiztosítási dékánhelyettese. A felsőoktatásban 1996 óta oktat filozófiát és jogelméletet. A Budapesti Ügyvédi Kamara tagja. Kutatási területe a társadalmi hálózatok, a hálózatok normaalkotási potenciálja, ill. a háború és béke etikája. Tizenkét éve oktat az intézményben, a Bachelor és Master képzések igazgatója. Kutatási területe az elszigetelt és veszélyeztetett populációk, krónikus betegségekkel kapcsolatos nemzetközi kilátások, valamint az időskori gondozás. Nemrég Dr. Borst a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Fulbright ösztöndíjas vendégoktatója volt, jelenleg tagja a Humán Innovációs Szemle szerkesztőbizottságának és közreműködik a Human Exchange Alapítvány kutatásaiban. Vezető kutatója az USA központilag támogatott programjának, amely gyermekkori és terhességi egészségüggyel, valamint a közegészségügy területén munkálkodó vezetéssel kapcsolatos kérdéseket kutat és oktat diplomásoknak. She has taught there for 12 years and has served as Director of the Bachelor and the Master program. Her areas of interest include isolated or at risk populations, chronic illness and international perspectives and care at the end of life. Recently Dr. Borst taught at Pecs University as a Fulbright Scholar, is currently on the editorial board of Human Innovation Rewiev and participates in studies of the Human Exchange Foundation. She is currently the primary investigator of a U.S. federal grant studying and teaching issues of child and maternal health (MCH) and leadership in public health to graduate students. Erdős (Ph.D., Dr. habil.) is head of department, an associate professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Policy, Faculty of Humanities, University of Pecs. Her area of interest is generativity in a post-communist social context. In 2011 she was appointed leader of an evaluation research centre, SZINEK (Social Innovations Evaluation Centre). A tanulmányai alatt több olyan nemzetközi programban vett részt, mint az EVS (European Voluntary Service) és a Leonardo Da Vinci program, melynek keretében 121

félévet dolgozott Horvátországban szenvedélybetegek ártalomcsökkentő ellátásában, négy hónapot Angliában egy a fiatal felnőttek számára létrehozott átmeneti otthonban. Ezen kívül több rövidtávú képzésen és tréningen vett részt Bosznia Hercegovinában, Macedóniában, Törökországban, Spanyolországban és Azerbajdzsánban. Jelenleg a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Bölcsészettudományi Kar, Szociális Munka és Szociálpolitika Tanszékén, egyetemi gyakornokként dolgozik. Luca Csikos is a Teacher of Persons with Learning Difficulties, (University of Kaposvar, 2008), Social Worker (University of Pecs Faculty of Humanities, 2010) and Translator in Economics and Social Sciences (Kodolanyi Janos University College, 2012). During her studies she participated in different exchange programs like European Voluntary Service and Leonardo da Vinci programme. With these programs she got a chance to work in harm reduction service in Croatia for a half year and for four months in England for a housing association with young adults. Besides of these she attended different short-term courses and trainings in Bosnia Herzegovina, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Spain, and Azerbaijan. At the present she is working at the Department of Social Work and Social Policy, University of Pecs Faculty of Humanities. Fodor Mónika (Ph.D.) a Budapesti Gazdasági Főiskola Külkereskedelmi Kar Marketing Intézeti Tanszék főiskolai docense, tanszékvezető helyettes. A Szent István Egyetem Gazdaság- és Társadalomtudományi Karán szerzett diplomát gazdasági agrármérnök szakon, agrármarketing szakirányon, 2003-ban. 2009-ben a Szent István Egyetem Gazdálkodási és Szervezéstudományi Doktori Iskola hallgatójaként summa cum laude minősítéssel védte meg doktori (PhD) címét. 2003 óta a felsőoktatásban dolgozik, kiemelt szakterületei a marketingkommunikáció, a fogyasztói magatartás és a piackutatás. Mónika Fodor (Ph.D.) is an associate professor, deputy head of department at Marketing Institute of Budapest Business School Faculty of International Management and Business. She graduated as an economic agricultural engineer with agricultural marketing specialization degree at Szent István University, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences in 2003. She received her PhD degree in 2009, at Szent István University, PhD School of Management and Business Administration. She works in higher education since 2003, her primary areas of research are: marketing communication, consumer behaviour and market research. Received his master s degree in 2011 from Selye János University, Komárno (teacher, Hungarian language and literature, history). Currently he is a PhD. student and instructor of the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature in the Selye János University. In his papers he studies the literature of postmodernism, especially the story organizing principles and fiction in Neil Gaiman s works. He lives in Komárno. Juhász Gábor (Ph.D., Dr. habil.) a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Bölcsészettudományi Kar Szociális Munka és Szociálpolitika Tanszékének egyetemi docense, a Human Exchange Emberi Erőforrás Fejlesztő és Tanácsadó Alapítvány kuratóriumának elnöke. She is a lead consultant for food safety and quality management systems in Serbia as a member of the company Quality Consulting. She is also serving as a Faculty Fellow in the Grand Valley State University Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center. Her teaching and research interests include social work clinical practice as well as cross cultural service learning. She is also working to examine relevant research issues surrounding the shift to competency based education in social work. E-mail: boleap@gwsu.edu Szijjártó Linda egyetemi tanársegéd a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Szociális Munka és Szociálpolitika Tanszékén, segédmunkatárs a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Rektori Hivatalában. 2009-ben diplomázott a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Pszichológia Intézetében, majd még ebben az évben megkezdte Ph.D. tanulmányait a Pszichológia Intézet Evolúciós-és Kognitív programjának keretein belül. Jelenleg a doktori disszertációján dolgozik. Kutatási témája elsősorban a machiavellizmus jelensége köré csoportosul: a machiavellizmus társas döntéshozatalban betöltött szerepével, illetve a machiavellista személyek érzelemszabályozásával foglalkozik. Linda Szijjártó is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pécs, Department of Social Work and Social Policy, a Research Fellow at the University of Pécs, Institute of Psychology. She graduated in 2009 as a psychologyst at the University of Pecs. The same year she started her PhD studies at the Institute of Psychology, University of Pecs, within the frames of the Evolutionary and Cognitive Psychology PhD programme. Now she work on her PhD dissertation. Her research interest is focused on the decision making and emotional regulation of Machiavellian persons in social dilemma situations. 125
