Uno de los programas más prometedores del festival Bridging Europe de este año es sin duda alguna la producción de danza basada en las tradiciones andaluzas que gira en torno a la apasionada vida del pintor simbolista español Julio Romero Torres. La exposición relacionada con esta producción presenta la vida y obra del autor. One of the most interesting production of this year s Bridging Europe programme will be the dance show focusing on the heritage of Andalusia as seen through the passionate life of Spanish symbolist painter Julio Romero de Torres. Jorge Pardo, una de las principales figuras del movimiento del nuevo flamenco, ha acostumbrado a su público a esperar de él lo inesperado. Su música combina a la perfección los elementos estilísticos del flamenco con la improvisación del jazz y hasta con el hip-hop. Bajo el título de Andalucía, la cuna del flamenco y con la ayuda de las bailaoras húngaras Andrea Lippai y Zsófia Pirók los más pequeños de la familia podrán familiarizarse con los instrumentos musicales típicos del flamenco y con las técnicas de las palmas y el zapateado.
