Írtam Neki, és ma csodák csodája: választ kaptam! Azt írja, hogy nagy örtömmel nézegette a tablókat, annak ellenére hogy így megöregedtünk. Gyuri most költözött Ottawába, ahol Felesége is állást kapott a szövetségi kormánynál, Ő pedig a Carleton Egyetemen tanít. Leírja, ahogy 1973 nyarán visszautazott a szüleihez Irakba, majd pedig a család engedélyt kapott, hogy autóval induljon haza, és Isztambulon és Görögországon keresztül Olaszországba mentek, onnan pedig három hónap múlva Kanadába. Gyuri érettségi után a Torontói Egyetemen régészetet és történelmet tanult, mivel az iraki évek alatt rájött, hogy érdekli az archeológia és az utazás. 1980 és 1985 között Cambridgeben tanult és doktorált. Utána a Torontói Egyetemen dolgozott, és 15 évig ázsiai ásatásokban vett részt. A felsorolt publikációk ennek a munkának az eredményei. Bogyó 1994-ben Pakisztánban megházasodott, és mivel Felesége mohamedán, Ő is felvette a mohamedán vallást, és megváltoztatta a nevét. 1995-ben visszatértek Kanadába és akkor kezdődött el a második karrierje. Először angolt tanított, aztán pedig tavaly szeptemberben újabb doktorátust szerzett. Jelenlegi állása a nyelvtudományokkal kapcsolatos. Gyuri mindannyiunkat üdvözöl, szívesen beszélgetne és találkozna velünk, terveik szerint 2008-ban jönnek majd Magyarországra. 2002-ben járt itt utoljára, édesanyja halálakor. Pannonhalmára is elment, de nem tudott senkivel sem találkozni. A gyerekek tablójára már feltettem a két kislányáról küldött képét és remélem hogy hamarosan további beszámolóra is megkérhetem.
