Metro Tries Card Scheme To Battle Fare Dodging The Moscow metro is updating its fare system once again. On Sunday, state-of-the-art smart cards will go on sale. Passengers will only have to flash the cards within a few centimetres of the reading device, the yellow spot with a Moscow metro symbol already located on the turnstiles that accept tickets.
