SAINT ANGELA MERICI ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH TÜv{w Évxáx Éy axã büäxtçá April 29, 2018 5th Sunday of Easter Dear Parishioners, We are just 2 weeks away from our Parish Gala, The Great Serve. Response from parishioners has been truly amazing; I want to thank everyone who has purchased tickets at this point. Remember that this is a fundraiser for our parish and the best advertisement is you. If you can say, I m going to the Gala, I guarantee someone else will do the same! WHEN? Saturday night, May 12, 2018 WHERE? WHAT? Blaine Kern s Mardi Gras World The Grand Mansion. This place is beautiful. It is an indoor area that looks like you are on the outside of a mansion on the bayou. You have to see it to believe it! Great food! A live band Uptown Phunk! A live auction & a drawdown auction! A $5,000 drawdown where every ticketholder has a chance to win! WHO? YOU are invited, family, and friends or anyone outside of the parish. HOW? AND WHY? How will you get there? You can reserve a spot on the limo bus from St. Angela, you can Uber your way down to Mardi Gras World, or you can drive we will have reserved parking near the entrance. Because we are here to serve as Church in the areas of evangelization, the works of mercy, family life, and vocation. This fundraiser assists with our mission! Because you or someone you know need a fun night out! It s the eve of Mother s Day. Bless a mom with a great night out! (A number of people that are unable to attend have purchased tickets and offered them to someone that would love a great night out). Because this is my first Gala as your Pastor and I truly want to see us succeed! The best advertisement is YOU. Again if you can say I m going to the Gala!, I know that someone else will do the same. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Tickets are $75 or $125 per couple. We also have sponsorship opportunities and a Patron Party.
