Out-of-date stock Stock that will be checked includes medicines, medical consumables, and samples Airways feature prominently on the list of expired stock found at survey visits This is one area that can often be rectified at the time of the visit 13 Vaccine logs Minimum and maximum temperature must be manually recorded twice a day Data loggers are excellent, but do not replace the need for manual records 14 Survey visit process Surveyors will be assigned to your practice. Via the Survey Visit module in Connect, you will be able to see, and approve, your surveyor team, and visit date and time. Surveyors will attend the visit and assess your practice for compliance against the Standards. Assessment information is submitted online, and nonconformities will be published in your Connect portal. Your Quality Accreditation Manager will review the findings, and call you to discuss any nonconformities, and what you need to do. 15
Survey visit process Corrective action must be submitted through your Connect portal: your QAM will give you a due date. Your accreditation report will be prepared for review and presentation to the Accreditation Committee If your corrective action is satisfactory, nonconformities will be closed.
